Presentation Les Rhums du Sud - Letchi - Papi Noël
This arranged rum smells like Letchi (and yes, in Reunion we say it like that..), one of the most emblematic fruits of Reunion Island ! On the nose, the white and tangy flesh of fully ripe lychee is accompanied by bourbon vanilla. This typical assembly from Réunion gives a fruity and exotic palate with vanilla which brings body to the floral notes of lychee. The lychee season lasts around 2 months in Reunion (from December to January) and its arrival heralds the end of year festivities.
HISTORY OF THE DISTILLERY
Born to a mother from Reunion, who settled in Aix En Provence after studying there, Hugo Randazzo has always been passionate about the traditions and culinary world of this beautiful island. It was therefore quite natural that he decided to share a Creole specialty: arranged rum . Rhums du Sud are made from maceration in vats (and not in bottles like most arranged rums) of traditional rum, fresh fruits and spices carefully selected in a process entirely carried out by hand . Hugo makes a point of using products from its two heartlands, Reunion Island and Provence , ensuring the quality and freshness of its products. Les Rhums du Sud will take you on a journey!
