This Viré-Clessé - Climat Les Gandines from Domaine Des Gandines comes from the exceptional climate "Les Gandines". This plot was the only vine of their great grandfather, part of which was planted in 1925. It is a full-bodied and straight wine with a very beautiful complexity. An exceptional wine.
HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN
In the heart of the Mâconnais, in the south of Burgundy, the Gandines vineyard is a family estate operated by the Dananchet family for four generations. The wines have been AB certified since 2009 and Demeter certified from the 2019 vintage.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
Ideal with lobster, fish in sauce, white meats in sauce, pan-fried foie gras, mature cheeses.
