History of the brewery
Belgian Saint Bernardus beer is a triple type abbey beer. Contrary to what its name suggests, the beer is not brewed by an abbey but by the Brouwerj St.Bernard Brewery. the history of this beer is linked to the Trappist monastery St. Sixtus in Flanders. St Bernardus blond beer is therefore a triple abbey style beer, well crafted and high in alcohol. It is a classic Belgian beer, with lots of aromas and well balanced.
