The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition Rouge from Domaine de la Palud is a wine with a beautiful ruby color. A dark purple ruby with purple edging, the nose is reminiscent of stone fruits mixed with spices, the palate, powerful, reveals a beautiful chew, the tannins are well coated by aging in demi-muids, lingering fruity and toasted notes finally. A beautiful expression of the terroir to discover.
HISTORY OF THE ESTATE
The Domaine de la Palud is a property located in the south of Orange, having belonged to a Provençal nobility family since the 14th century. The estate was then purchased by Pierre Joseph Grangeon who was previously the farmer. Since 2015, Marie-Laure Grangeon has taken over the family torch and thus represents the fifth generation to cultivate these lands. Domaine de la Palud produces several vintages in the Châteauneuf du Pape , Côte du Rhône or IGP Vaucluse appellations. In short, an old estate with a promising future!
