Presentation of Domaine Camille and Laurent Schaller Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin - White

An intense and balanced Chablis 1er cru Vaucoupin of very high class! Quite light pale gold color. Nose of white flowers characteristic of Chardonnay such as acacia, honeysuckle, with mineral notes, notably flint, very present. The palate is fresh and lively, typical of its Chablis 1er Cru terroir. The finish is saline, mineral and of very good length. Domaine Camille and Laurent Schaller gives us here a great dry white wine from Burgundy which highlights the finesse and complexity of its terroir!

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Domaine Camille and Laurent Schaller is a 15-hectare family estate located in Préhy, in the heart of the Chablis vineyards. While since the 1980s, the estate had sold its harvest to the cooperative, in 2014, Camille, newly arrived on the family farm, and her father Laurent Schaller , produced their first vintage which was immediately praised by critics! Since these promising beginnings, the estate has continued to progress its wines in the Petit Chablis , Chablis and Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin appellations in particular. If you like dry white wines from Burgundy and its emblematic grape variety: Chardonnay, you absolutely must discover the wines from Domaine Camille and Laurent Schaller !
