Presentation of Château Revelette - Red

Château Revelette Rouge is a must-have wine from Provence. The nose opens with notes of ripe fruit. The palate is rich and fleshy, but also shows a lot of freshness and brightness. The tannins are very fine. A complex and harmonious wine to enjoy with a leg of lamb or couscous for example.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

Peter Fischer arrived in Jouques in 1985 and quickly became the region's iconic winemaker. He produces terroir wines between 330 and 400 meters above sea level, on 30 hectares of vines scattered in the middle of a natural setting. He respects the environment and is above all committed to showcasing his terroir, the northernmost in the appellation. A wine lover, endearing, passionate and exciting. Accompanied by his wife Sandra for a long time, today their children Clara and Hugo are projecting themselves into this beautiful family adventure .

In the heart of Provence , 30 km north of Aix-en-Provence, in the commune of Jouques, Revelette has remained in its raw, wild and mysterious state. Sheltered by the Sainte-Victoire mountain, in the middle of thousands of hectares of woods, a building, cellars, vines… A wine estate that has only one vocation: make wine, real wine.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING

It will go wonderfully with the great classics: lamb, leg of lamb, small chops, grills, cold meats. Also try it with couscous.
