The Organic Hyssop Liqueur from the Lachanenche distillery is made with hyssop which grows at an altitude of 1200 meters in Ubaye. Since Antiquity, this plant has enjoyed great notoriety; our ancestors called it the “magic herb” and used it to treat injuries and lung diseases. Explore the delicacy of its subtly fragrant aroma.
HISTORY OF THE DISTILLERY
The Lachanenche distillery is a family distillery created in 1994. Located in the heart of the Alps in the Ubaye Valley, the Lachanenche distillery benefits from an exceptional terroir. All the herbs used are harvested in this exceptional land where biodiversity is one of the richest in Europe. All the distillery's products are intense in taste, organic and 100% natural. The products are produced using a still dating from 1900, according to tradition. Lachanenche offers us a beautiful range of spirits: Gin, Pastis, Eau de vie, Limoncello .
TASTING PAIRING
It can be served on its own, with a citrus zest or a little ice for a more refreshing experience. Hyssop liqueur can also be used as an ingredient in creating cocktails. It can add a subtly herbaceous and sweet flavor to a variety of drinks, from martinis to gin-based cocktails. This liqueur can also pleasantly flavor your sauces and marinades.
