Presentation of Balsamic Vinegar ASR 25 - Fondo Montebello
Fondo Montebello ASR 25 balsamic vinegar is a natural product and contains no flavoring, coloring or caramel. Refining takes place in barrels of different woods (chestnut, ash, mulberry, juniper and cherry) which give this particular and characteristic taste to the fresh must. The grapes used are of very high quality and the entire production process is checked by the company's laboratory in order to be able to guarantee its unique taste and particularities. The presence of a little deposit at the bottom of the bottle is a sign of an authentic and natural product and demonstrates natural decantation. Characteristics: Dark brown color, intense and luminous. Density: liquid but pleasantly syrupy. Nose: typical bouquet and a pleasant smell, complex with a nice balance. Taste: slightly sour and sweet on the finish with aromas transmitted during maturation in the barrels.
BRAND HISTORY
It all started at the end of 1991, in a small vinegar cellar on a farm. Hanging on a wall inside this house was a small, rusty metal plaque with a name engraved on it. This name was Fondo Montebello . Believing it to be a good omen, they took it as their business name. All vinegars are PGI, FSSC 22000 certified Modena balsamic vinegars. Their goal in becoming PGI certified is to protect their customers by improving the transparency of the process and the traceability of the ingredients, thus guaranteeing the safety, consistency and quality of all products.
RECIPES
To make a vinaigrette as a starter, to incorporate into a sauce, with raw or cooked vegetables, to accompany a strawberry salad.
