Presentation of Domaine de Fontenille, AOP Luberon - Cuvée Alphonse Blanc
The organic Cuvée Alphonse Blanc from Domaine de Fontenille is an AOP Luberon white wine with an enveloping mouthfeel, substance and freshness! Imagine a meal where the smells of toasted brioche bread mingle with the creaminess of a lump of butter. Delicacy and substance, yes, but not only that. The contrast between notes of peach, honey, dried fruit and a tense, saline finish remind us that here we are not advocating breeding, but rather the terroir. A very persistent finish with very intense quince notes.
HISTORY OF THE ESTATE
Domaine Fontenille , which has been working the vines since the 17th century, is located in the heart of Provence, on the southern slopes of the Luberon. Concerned about offering wines that respect the terroir and their environment, the owners have been engaged in organic farming since 2014. The Fontenille estate benefits from an exceptional terroir with clay-limestone and stony soils which give all their character to the wines, several times rewarded in the specialized press. The estate offers us an organic Fontenille Rosé cuvée that is intense on the palate and full of freshness. And a delicious and rounded Fontenille Blanc Organic cuvée . Domaine to discover for all lovers of organic Provence wines.
