Thoreau is the unique blend of a Guatemalan Rum and a VSOP Cognac. A tribute to the 19th century American philosopher, poet and naturalist: Henry David Thoreau. Known for his writings on creative freedom, Thoreau illustrates this philosophy very well. Its fluorescent design and the unique assembly contained in its carafe as well as its homage to its collar which features quotes from the poet make it an exceptional product. Les Bienheureux (Bellevoye Whiskeys, El Pasador de Oro Rums) once again highlight French know-how.

HISTORY OF THE DISTILLERY

By creating “ Les Bienheureux ” in 2013, Alexandre Sirech and Jean Moueix (Château Pétrus) first became interested in whisky, with the creation of Bellevoye whisky. Deciding to explore new avenues, the two spirits enthusiasts then turned to the West Indies to create the El Pasador de Oro rum brand. A blend of rums from Guatemala, aged for at least eight years, and subsequently refined in the cognac barrels of the distillery located in Charente. Caribbean Embargo, an organic French gin and Thoreau 70% Rum and 30% Cognac are the two latest creations from the French duo.
