Presentation of San Micheli Blanc - Domaine San Micheli

The white San Micheli cuvée reveals a brilliant color with green-gold highlights, accompanied by subtle aromas of fresh flowers and exotic fruits. This wine with strong Corsican typicity seduces with its minerality and elegance, perfect for lovers of refined and authentic wines. Located between the sea and the mountains, the vineyard benefits from the "U Sirenu" breeze, which tempers and stabilizes the cycles of the vine, guaranteeing a homogeneous maturation of the grapes and a unique freshness.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

Domaine San Micheli , one of the oldest in the Sartène appellation, is a family vineyard rooted since the 18th century in the Ortolo Valley, at the foot of the Cagna mountain range. Rehabilitated in 1950 by Saveria Polidori, then developed by Jean-Paul Phélip and his wife Bénédicte, it extends over 25 hectares of emblematic grape varieties (Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu, Vermentinu, Cinsault). This siliceous-granite terroir, cradled by a dry climate, offers ideal conditions for authentic and elegant wines. Managed using sustainable agriculture with manual harvests, the estate combines tradition and modernity thanks to air-conditioned cellars and precise control of fermentation, guaranteeing vintages reflecting all the richness of Corsica.
