BRAND HISTORY

Some stories have no boundaries or age, and they simply lay their roots in time. The story begins a few years ago, in 1904 , when an idea and some simple emotions found a home on a farm, immersed in the Piedmontese countryside. This is where Tenuta Margherita was born. Slow and delicate stone machining is their motto. Only in this way is it possible to achieve excellence: in these two words the principles of their work merge. Their attention and the historic machines define the essence of their work: the search for perfection. The raw rice, or paddy rice, after being stored in the silos for approximately 60 days , enters the factory. After several stages of processing, brown rice only undergoes 2 stages within the Minghetti "Amburgo" conical blanching machines. The rice, thanks to this ancient processing method, is only caressed, keeping all the organoleptic and nutritional properties intact.

RECIPES

Put a drizzle of olive oil in a heavy-based saucepan and cook the contents of the packet for about a minute over medium heat, stirring; pour in white wine and cook until absorbed. Slowly pour in 650 ml of hot water and, still stirring, allow it to be absorbed to the preferred consistency (approximately 17 minutes). Once almost cooked, stir in a knob of butter and parmesan, adding salt to taste. Risotto for 3 people
