Fiasconaro 's Cioccolato Panettone (brioche) is an artisanal cake without raisins or candied fruit, garnished with chocolate drops and covered with icing. This plain Panettone is hand-packed in Italy.

BRAND HISTORY

The history of the Fiasconaro company began in the 1950s with the founder Mario Fiasconaro. Originally an ice cream maker and pastry chef in the small town of Castelbuono , in the Palermo region ( Sicily ), he passed on to his children his taste for pastry and local know-how. It was in the 1990s that the company really developed nationally and internationally under the impetus of Nicola , a master pastry chef who had the idea of ​​creating "Sicilian" recipes for panettone , a famous traditional cake from northern Italy. Thus were born creations such as the Panettone Tradizionale with fresh Sicilian orange peel candied in Marsala, the Panettone Nero Sublime with Modica chocolate or the Panettone Mandorle with almonds. The now recognized quality of Panettone Fiasconaro is based essentially on the homemade sourdough , a slow fermentation of the dough for 36 hours and the incorporation of high quality raw materials: manna, Modica chocolate, almonds, Marsala wine, Zibibbo sweet wine, pistachio, orange, Sulla honey, etc.

Ingredients: Soft wheat flour, butter, sugar, fresh eggs, chocolate chips 10%, fresh egg yolk, natural yeast, hazelnut paste 2%, Sicilian honey, invert sugar, orange puree (chopped orange peel, sugar, concentrated lemon juice), emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, zibbibo wine 0.5%, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, salt, natural flavors: vanilla berries. Icing 11% (fresh egg white, sugar, rice flour, apricot kernel flour, modified starch, flavors, bitter cocoa), granulated sugar. (May contain traces of other nuts. Does not contain genetically modified ingredients.
