Discover the beer, La 500 , from the Nîmes microbrewery, La Barbaude . This stout is brewed with coconut for a taste full of sweetness and comfort. It is a dark beer with a beautiful ebony color and a silky texture. On the palate we appreciate the gourmet notes of coffee and toast, subtly enhanced by coconut. This is a perfect beer for dessert.
History of the brewery
Created in 2009 by two passionate brothers Mathieu and Bastien Collomp, Brasserie La Barbaude highlights its terroir. Located in the heart of Nîmes, La Barbaude represented the famous arenas in its logo. Having loved beers for years, the brothers decided to move from home brewing to creating their micro brewery. Barbaude means “beer, barley drink and hops” in old French. The brewery offers a range of beers that highlight the region's products: Camargue rice, Ardèche honey, Gard raspberries, etc... Made with care and with quality products with an authentic taste, the brewery delights us with these refreshing beers full of flavors. To discover !
