Presentation of Domaine de La Tour du Bon Bandol 2017 - Red
Discover the Domaine de la Tour du Bon , a very elegant Bandol far from the stereotypes of the most famous Provençal appellation! The color of this Bandol Rouge 2017 is deep purple with garnet reflections. The intense nose reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits, notes of scrubland and spices, particularly pepper. The palate is supple held by velvety tannins and unfolds in length with a fresh finish. The Domaine de la Tour du Bon gives us a delicate Bandol which can be drunk today or after a few years in the cellar.
History of the estate
The Domaine de La Tour du Bon is located in the extreme north-west of the Bandol appellation, facing the sea. This high altitude terroir benefits from 300 days of sunshine per year and tempers its aridity with sea air. Located between the sea and the mountains, the effects of the Mistral allow the vines to be cleaned up and ensure their good health without having to use phytosanitary products. The Domaine de La Tour du Bon has in fact been managing its vines in Organic Agriculture (certified) and for 5 years according to the principles of Biodynamics. All these exceptional conditions make it possible to obtain perfectly ripe grapes and produce the finest wines of the Bandol appellation in a fine and delicate style, without excess extraction or maturity. The inimitable style of Domaine de La Tour du Bon has earned it 2 stars in the Green Guide of La Revue de Vins de France.
