This Chianti from the Gasparri estate reveals an intense and delicate fruity bouquet, enhanced with subtle spicy notes. On the palate, a round and balanced flavor, slightly marked by well-integrated tannins, pleasantly persisting in the finish.
HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN
Since 1930, the Gasparri family has been involved in viticulture. Between 1988 and the early 2000s, wine production expanded considerably thanks to the purchase of new estates, including the Fattoria dell'Agresto in 1997. From the creation of "Posato", a Sangiovese passito red wine, produced using the traditional method of drying grapes on typical Vin Santo racks, to the rediscovery of red grape varieties that have historically flourished in the Mediterranean basin. The "Visyr" is one example, made from a blend of Syrah and Viognier grapes.
