Litchi Honey from Compagnie du Miel is a very floral honey with notes of rose and lychee. It is harvested in October in the Manakara region of southeastern Madagascar . After a long journey from China via the Indian route, the Litchi found welcoming soil in Madagascar on which to establish itself. Hard hit by droughts, this majestic and honey-producing tree nonetheless remains very popular with bees who do not hesitate to travel miles to collect its flowers.
