History of the estate

Malborough is New Zealand 's largest wine growing region. It is considered the home of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc . The name Misty Cove is a tribute to the valley of fjords: Malborough Sounds where the mist (Mist) rubs shoulders with the coves (Cove) creating breathtaking landscapes. Misty Cove is a family vineyard run by Andrew Bailey since 2008 who wishes to combine the tradition of viticulture with modernity. The 32 hectare estate is divided into 2 terraces. The 18 hectare upper terrace is certified in organic viticulture.
