Presentation Le Fief Noir – L’Âme de Fond 2016 - Anjou Blanc

Lovers of Chenin and dry white wines from the Loire ? The L’Âme de Fond 2016 vintage from the young estate Le Fief Noir is made for you! The color is light yellow with golden highlights. Complex nose with notes of white-fleshed fruit and citrus with a very mineral side. The intense and chiseled palate reveals the aromas present on the nose supported by a beautiful acidic framework. The very Loire tension of this L'Âme de Fond 2016 vintage from Fief Noir accentuates the minerality of the finish. A very well crafted Organic White Anjou

History of the estate

Le Fief Noir is a 20ha wine estate located in the heart of Anjou Noir in the commune of Saint-Lambert du Lattay, near Anger. Anjou Noir is a unique wine region with its shale subsoil, ideal for growing Chenin . This is why two friends who worked together on a wine estate in Corsica, Alexis Soulas and Dominique Sirot, decided to settle on these lands by taking over the Domaine des Chesnaies in 2014. Since then, these two very dynamic young winegrowers have been cultivating Chenin , Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon , Grolleau in respect of Organic Farming in the Anjou Villages and Coteaux du Layon appellations. An area to follow closely!
