Presentation of Domaine Les Aurelles – Solen – Red
Discover the Solen vintage from Domaine Les Aurelles , a red wine from Languedoc resulting from long aging (48 months) full of elegance and subtlety, in the Burgundian style. The color is deep garnet. On the nose we discover an aromatic bouquet around black fruit, spices and notes of garrigue. The palate confirms the nose, with a robust and racy wine around the fruit, all elegance, with round and silky tannins. The finish of Solen is admirably long, for this great fine and delicate Languedoc wine. To taste at least once in your life!
History of the estate
Since the creation of Domaine Les Aurelles in 1995, Basile and Catherine Saint Germain have worked their vines with great ecological standards and minimal interventionist winemaking. All Domaine Les Aurelles vintages have a sulphite content below the biodynamic threshold and are certified without traces of pesticides and herbicides. With low yields and a desire to offer vintages resulting from very long aging, the Domaine offers us elegant, subtle wines which regularly establish themselves as being the most accomplished and distinguished wines of Languedoc. Domaine Les Aurelles and its red vintage Solen is a reference in Languedoc and in the specialist press (3 stars in the Green Guide), absolutely worth discovering!
