Discover Morropо́n 72% Dark Chocolate from Bar Clandestine . In Peru, the oldest traces of cocoa date back 5000 years, used as a drink. Gran Nativo Blanco, a variety endemic to Morropón, was long forgotten. Its name comes from its rare and delicate white beans. The Norandino cooperative helps producers cultivate these cocoa trees in agroforestry, often alongside mango or lemon trees. This often award-winning bean is one of the most complex in Peru. BRAND HISTORY

Émilie and Emmanuel, former professionals in the public sector and consulting, change direction to devote themselves to their common passion: chocolate. They created Barre Clandestine in 2022, inspired by the desire to produce extraordinary artisanal chocolate, far from industrial standards. Émilie, a chocolate fan, has explored the creations of numerous chocolatiers. She fell in love with this profession and could no longer imagine doing anything else: choosing the best beans, designing recipes to reveal unique aromas, arousing taste emotions... Emmanuel, a former consultant by day and magician by night, Was totally surprised by the taste of bean to bar chocolates. His ambition: “that our chocolate reflects my personality, demanding in quality and values, but also surprising in flavor ”.
