This vintage reflects the very essence of the Rully vineyard thanks to the meticulous blending of 4 plots with distinct characteristics. Each terroir brings its unique signature, thus offering a true mosaic of flavors and textures.

  • Chaponnières and Les Saint Jacques : These climates provide finesse and elegance, with delicate notes of white fruits.
  • La Crée : Located under the premier crus, this stony terroir produces structured and powerful wines with great depth.
  • La Bergerie : With its deep clay soil, it enriches the vintage with exotic nuances, notably subtle aromas of grapefruit.

The result is a complex and balanced wine, which perfectly captures the diversity and richness of the Rully vineyard. An ideal cuvée for amateurs in search of finesse, power and varied expressions of the Burgundy terroirs.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

The estate was created in 1970 by Michel Briday from 6 hectares of vines in tenancy and sharecropping. Since 2000, it is his son Stephane Briday who has taken up the torch and cultivates with the same passion his vines which represent 15 hectares today in the Rully , Rully 1er Cru and Bouzeron appellations. Very dynamic, Stéphane Briday has given a new impetus both to the estate's wines and to the promotion of the Rully appellation. The winemaker's guiding principle is clear, to highlight the soils and terroirs rather than the varietal expression of the grape varieties and not to mark the wines too much with wood. Domaine Michel Briday produces balanced and complex vintages with exemplary regularity.
