Château Majoureau - Hyppos Red - Bordeaux Supérieur

This Bordeaux Supérieur red is the barrel-aged cuvée from old plots of Château Majoureau . This purple-colored wine reveals a gourmet nose of ripe red and black fruits with woody notes. On the palate, this Hyppos Rouge 2022 cuvée from Château Majoureau is smooth, enveloped by silky tannins that bring a lot of charm to this rounded Bordeaux. An excellent quality/price/pleasure ratio for lovers of woody wines (but not too much)! With the Hyppos cuvée, with the seahorse as a symbol, Mathieu Delong and his sister Emeline pay tribute to their parents through their passions: the sea and horses.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

Château Majoureau is a 38-hectare family estate located in Caudrot, in the heart of the Côtes de Bordeaux Saint Macaire and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations . Although the estate has only been producing wine since 1981 with Monique and Bernard Delong, it was in the mid-1800s that these lands belonged to the Delong family. Today the 5th generation is at work, with Mathieu and Emeline, who continue to improve their different vintages thanks to their complementarity and their passion for wine! Château Majoureau is an essential address for Bordeaux lovers who want to get a good deal!
