XB is the vintage which bears the initials of its winemaker Xavier Braujou who wanted to make an affordable vintage. The result is a 100% Syrah red wine made from the fruit of Domaine La Terrasse d'Elise with a nice quality/price/pleasure ratio. The color is dark purple. The nose is red and black fruits, cherry, blackberries, blueberries, with small touches of sweet spice and cinnamon. The palate is frank and crisp with supple tannins. XB is a fruity and easy-drinking pleasure wine to share with friends over a good aperitif!

History of the estate

Domaine La Terrasse d'Elise is a 14-hectare estate located between Aniane and Saint-Jean-de-Fos in Languedoc, masterfully managed by Xavier Braujou . A true artisan winemaker, Xavier Braujou produces great Languedoc wines, mainly single-varietal, with lots of personality and precision. His enormous work (long aging, very low yield, etc.) earned him 1 star in the 2019 Green Guide of La Revue des Vins de France and 2 stars in the 2019 Bettane + Desseauve Guide .
