Presentation of the Domaine Aupilhac – Les Cocalières - White

Discover the Les Cocalières Blanc cuvée from Domaine Aupilhac , a biodynamic white wine from Languedoc, full of freshness and length. Its color is pale yellow. On the nose we discover aromas of white flowers and white peaches. The palate confirms the nose with fruity and sweet floral flavors, accompanied by iodized and mineral touches, characteristic of vines whose roots are deep in contact with the rock. Les Cocalières blanc is a very well-balanced cuvée, fresh and with a beautiful length. It is a white wine that can be kept for several years.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

The Aupilhac estate is located in Montpeyroux, about thirty kilometers north of Montpellier. It is a family estate and Sylvain is the 5th generation to cultivate these vines. The estate has terraced plots on the place called "Aupilhac" and plots higher up on the "Cocalières" site. Its terroir and climate at the foot of the Larzac Plateau, allow the Aupilhac Estate to offer wines that will have, thanks to the altitude, higher acidity/alcohol balances, as well as fresher aromas. The estate practices organic and biodynamic agriculture (Ecocert and Demeter certification) and offers us superbly crafted vintages, including Les Cocalières Rouge and Les Cocalières Blanc, wines with a long aging in tuns and barrels, all in freshness, well structured and balanced.
