Presentation of the Domaine Des Gandines – Mâcon-Péronne

This Mâcon-Péronne from Domaine Des Gandines comes from very old 90-year-old vines, planted on stony soils. Organic farming has been practiced there since 2005 and biodynamic preparations have been used since 2012. The harvest is manual, the wine is produced 50% in oak tuns and 50% in stainless steel vats. Fermentation is natural, and it contains a low quantity of sulfites (60 mg/l), the wine is aged on lees for 8 months. It is a very elegant great Mâcon wine, with very good substance and good acidity.

HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN

In the heart of the Mâconnais, in the south of Burgundy, the Gandines vineyard is a family estate operated by the Dananchet family for four generations. The wines have been AB certified since 2009 and Demeter certified from the 2019 vintage.
