Presentation of Armin 10 years - Bas Armagnac - 50cl

Straight from the lands of Gascony, Armin is an elegant Bas Armagnac
and sassy produced with respect for 700 years of know-how.

Mainly composed of the famous Armagnac Baco grape variety, it was aged between 10 and 12 years in pedunculated oak barrels. The barrels are made by Gilles Bartholomo, the last active cooper in the region. Brilliant color with gold highlights. Deep nose, notes of almond and dried orange peel. Round mouth, sweet spices, notes of frangipane, smooth finish.

HISTORY OF THE DISTILLERY

Armin is great but above all friends. It is the story of three friends, Augustin, Edgar and Edouard. Their mission is to shine the spotlight on Armagnac, this fabulous product that is still too little known to the general public. After extensive research, they selected blends from Arthez d'Armagnac for the exceptional quality of its eaux-de-vie, respect for traditions and the know-how of Sarah, the cellar master.

Armin is a Bas Armagnac produced in the Landes in Arthez d'Armagnac. The eaux-de-vie are distilled in the oldest still in operation in Armagnac (1804) and then age in pedunculate oak barrels.

“Armin”? (pronounced Armine) Frankish soldier who distinguished himself at the Battle of Vouillé
in 507 against the Visigoths. To reward him for his bravery, Clovis offered him
a county in the South West of France. This land first called "Arminius",
the country of Armin in Latin, will become “Arminhac” in Gascon before taking
the definitive appellation “Armagnac”.
