Presentation of Domaine Gueissard, Bandol Rouge

Fancy a superb red wine from Provence ? Discover the Bandol vintage from Domaine Gueissard. Bandol wines are among the most prestigious appellations in the region, and they have a very high aging capacity. The wine has a beautiful deep red color. On the nose we discover a bouquet of red fruits and chocolate. On the palate we appreciate notes of intense red fruits and tobacco. The tannins are elegant. Bandol from Domaine Gueissard is a wine to drink now or to age for ten years to appreciate new flavors. A sure value!

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Pauline and Clément created the Gueissard Vineyard in 2010 in homage to their first plot planted in Saint Cyr Sur Mer in the place called Gueissard. In these vines, ideally located in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur, Sainte-Anne-d'Evenos and Le Beausset, the most suitable grape varieties flourish, in the Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations. On these 30 hectares of vines, we find this philosophy dear to the Gueissard estate: doing everything possible to protect and respect the land. The culture there is ultra-reasoned, the mechanical work limited to a minimum. No wonder then that the organic conversion and High Environmental Value certification of the Gueissard estate are underway.
